This is a study of a cat's eyes. I was trying my first cat portrait and found cats' eyes fascinating (even more than dogs') so I did this sketch. It turned out so well that I kept it and hope to finish it soon. But I think it looks pretty neat as is, too.

Look inti my eyes...and find deep pools of love. Many years ago I had a cat whose eyes looked just like these. She was my closest friend for over 17 years. I still miss Klivshea. Thank you for posting this beautiful drawing.

Very nice! You're right about their eyes too. When my cat is mischievious her pupils blow up no matter what the light is like. I know when her eyes are big & black I better watch out 'cause she'll be up to no good.
